In Episode 2 of the Game Changer series, the founder of Immucura Johannes Schumacher tells the story of how Immucura was established and how it continues to grow and to help cancer patients fight cancer through Dendritic Cell Therapy.
Back in 2014 the founder’s father suffered from cancer, he was not happy with the treatments they had available for them, so he searched for alternatives and found Dendritic Cell Therapy, unfortunately, however, it was too late for his father, but form that experience, he decided to make DCT available to patients through Immucura.
Dendritic cell therapy is a targeted therapy that boosts the patient’s immune system (the Dendritic Cells) to boost its chances of eliminating cancer cells. In 2015 we started treating our first patients and the demand is still growing.
